Zumba takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.


Get Grounded with Edie! Instructed by a nurse and fitness professional of over 40 years, Edie's Yoga classes are suited to fit a variety of levels and abilities. All Yoga classes are a safe and non-competitive place for all to enjoy, and offers a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone.
Yoga classes will flow through postures designed to build internal heat slowly and gently while flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with the breath. It will focus on strength, flexibility, and balance while improving posture, breathing patterns and misalignments common for much of the population. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make full use of the body’s range of motion with sun salutations, standing and seated postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

Turn Up

TURN UP is a high intensity dance workout to current, edgy hits, but it is so much more than that! It is also a mindset. It’s about living unapologetically and being the best version of you, for you. This is a judgement-free zone and we are just there to dance, let loose, and let out all of life’s craziness!

Pound Fitness

Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Burlesque Burn

Turn down the lights, and turn up the heat! Joplin's only BURLESQUE class is giving new meaning to Body Positivity and Empowerment!
Burlesque Burn combines your body movement with the chair for a core workout that is all of the TEASE, without the strip. We will break down moves in a way that will make them easy to learn, while using your muscles in new ways to improve flexibility and strength. In addition to classes, you will be given access to a private page for dance breakdowns, special tutorials, and insight to exclusive events.
You must be 17 or older to attend. You will need a clean pair of socks or non-grip dance shoes (not mandatory). Ladies only, please.

Total Strength

Wish you could focus on gaining muscle, but don't want to pay for a personal trainer? A brand new class is hitting the gym next week! TOTAL STRENGTH focuses on full-body strength training using body weight exercises AND weight lifting. This class utilizes minimal cardio, and zones in on the importance of functional muscle gain to fast track you toward your goals.


SilverFit is specially created by health and fitness professionals to increase mobility, strength, and balance while protecting joints. Designed with a mature crowd in mind, SilverFit is appropriate for both seniors and anyone with little to no exercise experience. This class is done partly in standing and partly seated, but can be modified to be done completely in the chair.

Zumba Gold

Do you ever find yourself thinking about "the good ol' days?" Maybe exercise feels like something that is out of reach following an old injury, a new diagnosis, or maybe just the passing of time. If you are looking to stay active, but just can't handle the high impact and intensity of regular cardio classes, then Zumba Gold is designed for you! Taught by a licensed professional, this class focuses on strength, balance, and functional movement to improve your quality of life. Zumba Gold brings you the fun of Zumba without the spinning, twisting, or jumping.

Aqua Zumba

Joplin's favorite pool party is back every summer beginning in June and running through the early weeks of August.

This ain't yo' Grandma's Aquacise! Traditional Zumba style is combined with resistive movements to give you all the strength and cardio, without the pressure on your joints. Don't be fooled! This class is a serious workout, but in all the best ways.

Please note that this class is done in chest height water to give you excellent resistance while keeping your feet safely on the ground. Swimming is not a requirement of this class (neither is wearing a swimsuit).

Our Aqua Zumba class is hosted in conjunction with the Joplin Parks & Rec department.

HIIT Kickboxing

Taught by a karate black-belt, HIIT Kickboxing uses the elements of martial arts in a way that targets muscles in the entire body. The instructor will guide you through the basics of kickboxing, teaching combos as the class progresses.

Using the timer, rounds will consist of martial arts broken up by short cycles of cardio to maximize muscular endurance and overall metabolic rate.

Our Unlimited Class Pass includes ANY CLASS, ANY DAY, ANY TIME for as many classes as you want to take in a month for only $40. We provide discounts for military, senior (ages 65+), and youth (ages 16-20). 

You can also drop into any class without a pass for $10. 

Be sure to sign in to our text reward system upon arrival so that you never miss a class discount or chance for free merch!

Every BODY Fitness is a BYOM facility (bring your own mat). This helps to cut down on any possible transfer of germs between mats, and saves on cleaning materials. We provide all other equipment used in classes, and have water (and hair ties) for sale in the lobby. Yoga mats can also be purchased for $15, should you need one.

No pre-registration is required to attend any of our classes. 

We believe that every child is different, as is every parenting style. As a rule of thumb, as long as a child can safely participate in a class without running underfoot, they are welcome to join! We do ask that children under the age of 13 be accompanied by a parent.
